The four (or five) years spent in college are arguably the most influential period of a young adolescent’s life time. We believe that college is a time of unprecedented growth and self-development. Before college, from elementary school to high school, we have lived in a safe and controlled environment where parents, teachers, and other authority figures oversaw and guided our every action. For the first time in our lives, we are fully responsible for our actions and deciding what we want to do with the rest of our lives.

FreshmenAgain is a community that focuses on college students, but welcomes anyone with a curious mind. This blog is intended to provide discussion about this awesome college experience and inspiration to take advantage of this crucial time of growth. But the underlying ideas of this blog extend far beyond the college experience. Throughout the different stages of our lives, we will always find ourselves in a position where we feel like “freshmen” again (after getting at a new job, moving to a new city, etc.) We’re not here to tell you what to do with your life, but to encourage you to reach your full potential and become the person you want to be. As much as we have learned through our education so far, we realize how ignorant we still are in respect to the broad spectrum of life. Together we strive to elevate our minds outside of the classroom by meeting new people, trying new things, and exploring the wonders of world.

Feel free to comment and share your thoughts about what we have to say. Please, no trolling (we’re not in high school anymore).
